The Dunes Hotel is situated in the South Lakes, we are just off the A590, a short drive from Ronhead beach, Barrow, Ulverston and Dalton town centres are no more than a 10 minute drive from us. Local attractions includes south lakes safari zoo, the ruins of Furness Abbey and the popular Lake District attractions such as Bowness and Windermere are a 30 minute drive away.
We offer 42 rooms all of which are made up from Double, Twin and family options; these include en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Our on-site restaurant The Coast offers a welcoming and relaxed dining experience, perfect for families, couples and group dining. We offer a happy hour between 12pm and 7pm.

The hotel also offers facilities for functions and we are becoming increasingly popular with weddings, christenings and birthday parties, as well as Christmas and New Year parties.
We offer complimentary parking and currently have 30 parking spaces available on site.
Our hotel is expanding within the upcoming months to provide guests with other accommodation options to include lodges and hot tubs. We are also aiming to build a children’s play area and a micro-brewery.
