The Marine Hotel is a large family run three star hotel in Aberystwyth, a unique Victorian building along the Promenade. Nerys and the family have owned the hotel for over 30 years and are very fortunate to have a family of staff who have been with us for many, many years. Our aim is to ensure you have a warm welsh welcome at our Aberystwyth Hotel.
We have sixty individually designed bedrooms & self catering apartments within our luxury hotel from Single, Double or Twin rooms, Family rooms sleeping from 3 to 6 persons, Deluxe rooms with four-poster beds & jacuzzi bath, Dog Friendly and Accessible Aberystwyth accommodation - we have something to suite everyone here at our hotel on the Aberystwyth sea front! With many of our rooms offering spectacular Sea Views of Cardigan Bay.
The Hotel is located at the Promenade in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales just a throw away from the Aberystwyth Pier and the Bandstand, a 2 minute walk to the Town Centre and a 10 minute walk to the Train Station.

The Basics
The Marine Hotel has a range of facilities for our guests, including a lounge, bar, restaurant, free Wi-Fi in public areas and limited car parking. We also have facilities for disabled guests, with access to all public areas, a lift and disabled friendly bedroom.

This is also a pet friendly hotel, with rooms allocated for those bringing their pets along also.

Travelling
Travelling to the hotel is fairly easy - we are located on the promenade in Aberystwyth which is well sign posted through the town.

We are a 5 minute walk from the train station and bus station, which is also where the taxi rank is if your luggage is heavy or the weather wet!

Sports and Leisure
There are many sport facilities near to the Marine Hotel, as well as a leisure centre within the town (around a mile away) with plenty to offer.

There is also outdoor activity companies in the local area which we are happy to recommend to you.

Outdoor Adventure
There are many outdoor activities in the area which we are happy to recommend to you. Aberystwyth was host to the World Orienteering Club in 2013 with many events in the local area, and is also centre to many activities such as horse riding, surfing and walking.

We are a family friendly hotel, and offer high chairs and travel cots free of charge on request.

We are fully licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies in the hotel, and are known as one of Ceredigion's premier wedding venues. With over 30 years experience, we are happy to help in any way we can towards your special day.

We are also happy to help for any special occassion, simply ask and we will offer advice on florists etc, and will organise a surprise for your arrival if you like!

The Marine is well equipped as an event holder, with 3 function rooms - the Atlantic Ballroom seating up to 220, the Dining Room up to 130 and the Bistro up to 25.

We offer menus for all tastes, and can also tailor menus towards your costs/ideas. Christmas parties and party nights are held each year, as well as special rates for those coming with Young Farmer Clubs.
