Walking from the inn is superb with many miles of Thames side walks. The cotswold villages with thatched roof and roses is allways impresive. The old sand pit lakes allways offer up wild life surprises.

The Ferryman Inn does not have a play area, but with so much open space and river bank to explore they do not seem to miss a formal play area.
