They come frae north, south, west and east, tae marvel at the Ravenous Beast, Its fame comes no’ frae being scary,
But food and lodgings? Legendary!
Welcome to the home of the Ravenous Beastie, a cosy nest for those in search of legendary levels of comfort and hospitality and some of the finest Scottish food you’ll ever dip your beak in.
Some call us a restaurant with rooms, others call us a Boutique Guest House/Hotel - we don’t much mind either way, just as long as you call us.
Whether roosting at Ravenous or flying in for a bite to eat, or both, the keepers of the Ravenous Beastie invite you to join them in their impressive lair.
Perched just above the cobbled High Street in the conservation area heart of the picturesque former
Royal Burgh of South Queensferry, we’re just a 15 minute hop from Edinburgh Airport by car or taxi
and 15 minutes from the centre of Scotland’s stunning capital itself by train.
"Tae start yer day at Ravenous Beastie yon`s no just breakfast, that`s a feastie!"
The keepers of the Ravenous Beastie are (obviously) well versed in satisfying even monster appetites.
For those who nest awhile with us, our varied breakfast menu is guaranteed to get your day off to a flying start, while for non-residents our restaurant is open from 7.00am until 6.00pm.
The attached sample menus will give you a small flavour of what we do but the real proof of the pudding,
as always, is in the eating so we look forward to serving you in the very near future.
Everything is prepared freshly to order, using locally sourced, top quality Scottish produce.
