Since 04/07/20 the hotel and Restaurant is once again begin welcoming all guests. When guests check out all our rooms are fogged with disinfectant after being thoroughly cleaned, to ensure there will be no trace of any virus or bacteria.

We have installed hand sanitation stations within the restaurant and public area and require all visitors to use them. All staff and their families are healthy.

The restaurant will be open to guests for breakfast, which must be ordered in advance as we cannot hold a buffet station. We are also open for evening meals from 6PM, both to hotel guests and non-guests, but reservations must be made and all food will be ordered remotely via an online menu and ordering system. All of our food is homemade and prepared on site, and we have updated our menu, keeping all the classic meals you love but adding a range of new dishes including our delicious Italian style thin-base pizzas.

We are still continuing our takeaway meals every evening Wednesday to Saturday, and our Sunday Roasts are also still available to takeaway.

Table allocation is reduced to ensure social spacing guidelines are followed. This means there are larger gaps between tables and where possible guests may be asked to eat on the tables and benches outside.

Popular Motel with the owner onsite looking after the place. All of the staff are friendly and engaging. Our Chefs are passionate that every plate is showtime as is the owner. The bar and restaurant is friendly Covid safe and here to look after you in line with current regulations.

Every Sunday, there is a very popular and delicious Carvery with 3 meats. Our new Rational Ovens ensure all food is steam cooked to perfection, mouth-watering roasties and fresh veg, as well as fish options, vegetarian and vegan options and a fun kids menu. Booking is required. The Lodge Restaurant is open to the public and we look forward to giving the best possible experience.
