The Old Post Office is completely separate from Hilton Hall, sitting on the edge of the grounds, facing on to Grove End, a lane that runs down to the famous turf maze and village hall with its carpark. You can come and go at your leisure and convenience.
South of Peterborough on A1, then onto A14 towards Cambridge. Look out for variable speed cameras on A14!
Travel for about 12-15 miles on A14, past Huntingdon, towards Cambridge. When you reach a signpost for St Ives and Biggleswade, take that sliproad. You will quickly reach a T-junction and you want to turn right.
The road takes you up and over the A14 to a roundabout, where you take the route to Hilton (B1040). In about 2 miles you will reach a traffic calming bollard and 30 mph signs at the edge of the village.
Just beyond these, round a slight bend, there is a cross-roads, turn left onto High Street. The short road follows an S-bend and as it straightens out, Hilton Hall is an old red brick house on your right.
Drive just past Hilton Hall and take the right fork off the High Street onto Grove End and The Old Post Office is just there on your right.
