The Grand Harbour overlooks the point of departure and to commemorate this historic event our impressive meeting rooms are named after the Mayflower & Speedwell, ships that sailed in 1620. Our main bedroom suite is named after John Carver, who led the group to America.
More recently, the Titanic sailed from here in 1912 and the Grand Harbour now witnesses the busy cruising actvity on the Solent - Southampton being the home port of the Queen Mary 2, The Queen Victoria and more recently the Azura along with many other famous liners. |
