The Lanner Inn is a 200 year old inn, which at various times has been a coaching Inn, as well as a "Tally" pub during its period off ownership by the local tin mines.
Nowadays, the Inn caters for the locals by hosting all the traditional pub pastimes; cards, darts, pool etc. and of course, good conversation in a cosy, real fire warmed bar.
The pub enjoys a reputation for good real ales from local and national breweries.

Within easy reach of the golden sandy beaches of Porthtowan, Portreath & St. Agnes, close to the A30 (1 mile) giving easy access to the whole of Cornwall.
Towns within a few miles are Redruth, Perranporth, Newquay, St. Ives, and the beautiful city of Truro. Further afield, but still within easy traveling distance, you will find Lands End, Penzance and Falmouth with its wonderful harbour and maritime museum plus many other towns, villages and famous coves to numerous to mention. There are also superb attractions such as the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. For the more energetic, scenic walks and the Portreath Tramway, as featured on the recent Railway Walks. In fact Julia Bradbury and the film crew stayed with us whilst filming. Golfers will find many courses situated close by, there is also horse riding, cycle hire, surfing lessons, cinema, quad biking, a beauty salon and a skate board park available plus all the usual activities that you would expect find in historic, beautiful Cornwall.
All our rooms are beautifully decorated to provide a relaxing and comfortable, homely atmosphere. Our bedrooms may not be large,(room sizes can be viewed on line) as we have a traditional Cornish Cottage, but we have a large lounge, bar and gardens for you to use. To set you up for the day, our superb locally sourced Cornish breakfast. We are open all year and licensed, with evening meals available Monday to Friday from our extensive menu. Light bites and Cornish cream teas available 12.00pm to 9.00pm every day.

Each room has been individually named and most have spectacular views over Crantock Bay from which guests can admire the ever-changing moods of the Atlantic Ocean. However, the bedrooms located at the front of the hotel still enjoy fine views of uninterrupted countryside over Cubert Common, towards the village of Cubert and beyond.
