Rooms from 40.00 GBP | Dolbrodmaeth is essentially a Country House Hotel affording 11 en-suite rooms. It was originally part of the grand Buckley Estate in Dinas Mawddwy. It is believed that the house was turned into an Inn to supplement income.
It has a cosy restaurant overlooking the river and gardens, Riverside bar and public bar/games room. Situated in four acres of gardens and grasslands with commanding and inspiring views all around. With its relaxed and informal atmosphere, Dolbrodmaeth offers a really warm welcome throughout the year with excellent comfort, hospitality, quality food and drink.
We offer 11 rooms, all of which are en suite with complimentary tea/coffee facilities and colour television as well as many thoughtful extras. The accommodation is generally spacious and individually styled throughout. Our business consists of a pub, restaurant and bed & breakfast, car park and pub garden and patio. The pub area has some interesting carvings in both slate and wood, with the snug area featuring a mosaic cobble floor and an inglenook complete with a Victorian cast iron cooking range which we light on cold winter days. We also have a games room where you can play pool, dominoes and darts whilst listening to the jukebox or watching the television. This room is quite often used for small private meetings. Our Chef's serve quality home cooked meals from 11am until 2pm and from 6.30pm until 9.30pm in our oak beamed dining room or on the patio, which has excellent views of the surrounding hillside.
