Rooms from 60.00 GBP | Built in 1904 by the Episcopalian church as a convent, Glen Orchy House was known as the 'House of Charity' until the 1920's, when it became the Rectory to St Magnus Church here in Lerwick. Acquired by the present owner Trevor Howarth in 1991 the house has been sympathetically renovated and extended in keeping with the original style, whilst providing every modern comfort for the discerning guest.
Fax and VCR facilities are available for use on request.
Day trips exploring Shetland are also available and highly recommended. The hotel also now offers a superb range of Thai Food all cooked fresh to order. There is a huge range of dishes to choose from served daily from 6pm until 9.30pm. European breakfast served from 6.45-8.30 Monday-Saturday and 7.45-9.30 on Sunday.
