The cosy restaurant has a real fire and offers freshly prepared meals made using locally sourced seasonal produce whenever possible. The menus changes seasonally to reflect the finest ingredients available locally and there is also an extensive and imaginative bar menu that changes daily. Rooms from 35.00 GBP | The Half Moon Inn is a 16th century coaching inn quietly located 6 miles north east of the market town of Diss and 17 miles south of Norwich. The Half Moon is well situated for visiting East Anglia as a whole and is within a couple of miles of the Waveney Valley with its picturesque scenery and quaint old villages.
There are ten rooms available for letting: eight of these have en-suite facilities and the other two are beautiful, cosy rooms with a wealth of beams, charm and character. Seven of the rooms are in a modern chalet style accommodation, Three rooms are suitable for families having a double and a single bed, additional beds are available on request.
If you are planning to come to the Norfolk or Suffolk are you would be hard pressed to find accommodation as welcoming or as keenly priced as The Half Moon.
With just a half hour drive to Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, and about an hour from a number of coastal locations, Rushall is well placed as a great base for exploring the local area.
While you're in Norfolk it's well worth taking a day trip to the Norfolk Broads and where better to come back to than one of our traditional olde English style rooms and a great home cooked meal.

Over the past 10 years or so The Half Moon has built up a great reputation for an excellent home cooked menu and it is well deserved. From breakfast to evening meals the quality (and quantity) speaks for itself and can only be out done by the friendly service from all the staff.
