Rooms from 86.00 GBP | The Langstone Cliff Hotel in Devon, welcomed its first guests in the Spring of 1947, prior to that it was what the Victorians knew as a "Gentleman's Residence". The cast iron Veranda was, we believe, imported from the southern states of the USA around the 1900's and still proves a popular place to sit and enjoy a drink or a light meal all year round with it's panoramic views across the mouth of the River Exe towards Exmouth.
Since those early days there have been many changes and the Langstone Cliff Hotel can now offer 66 en-suite rooms and a host of leisure and business facilities that our earliest guests would surely have welcomed.
The hotel is still a popular family holiday destination, especially during school holidays, but now also caters for Conferences, Meetings and Short Breaks throughout the year.
We are very proud of our successful "Langstone Special" weekend breaks. These offer a combination of first class food and drink along with a comprehensive entertainment package.

A popular dish is our ‘Catch of the Day’ filleted and cooked to choice. From simply filleted and steamed or for the more adventurous, filleted, fried in a light crispy coating and finished with a sweet & spicy Thai sauce.
Our cosmopolitan bar ‘The Vine Bar’ is open to dining and accommodation guests only. Here you can relax and enjoy a drink before or after your meal.
Chi has 5 comfortable en-suite bedrooms all with colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits & mineral water, hair dryer, in room safe, telephone, alarm clock\radio and free broadband internet access. A photo copying & fax service is available at a small charge.
Our breakfast menu includes a full English breakfast, or if you prefer something different, we offer a Chinese breakfast of freshly steamed dim sum & Jasmine tea. A packed lunch can also be provided.
