An old railway hotel dating from around 1900, it is now a contemporary Hotel and Restaurant which has made quite a name for itself in the area for outstanding quality and service. The interior is just as elegant; guests are welcomed by plush carpets, traditional wooden furniture and glorious roaring open fires in the colder months.
The food is simple but spectacular, all locally sourced (including delicious smoked salmon from the nearby Fjordling Smokehouse) and lovingly prepared on the premises - you will find yourself reluctant to leave! The hotel can accommodate parties and events, often being the location for wedding receptions, and also contains a games room, projection screen, and large garden with play area. Food is served Monday to Saturday 12noon to 2.30pm and 6pm to 9pm, on Sundays the kitchen is closed for dinner, but lunch is served between 12noon and 4pm. Children and dogs welcome. |
