The Star and Garter Hotel is a large imposing Georgian style building, steeped in history, dating back to the mid eighteenth century and is located at the east end of historic Linlithgow's High Street. The hotel is a family owned and run hotel with 15 well appointed recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms. This historic hotel has a very comfortable 60-seater restaurant which boasts an exciting menu to suit all tastes combining the best of traditional and contemporary Scottish fayre. There is also a traditional Scottish bar of unique character offering a wide selection of malt whiskies, and an excellent choice of brand leading beers and spirits. We also have a large beer garden at the rear of the hotel where we enjoy Sunday BBQ's during the summer months.
