The hotel is located on Osborne Road, home to a vibrant cafe culture and especially popular during the summer months for al fresco dining. The Kenilworth incorporates El Castano, a well-established and busy Spanish restaurant serving authentic Tapas dishes, all freshly prepared on the premises. The newly refurbished Cocktail Lounge adjoining the restaurant offers a perfect place to relax over a drink, whilst the heated terraces provide the ideal spot to chill out and people watch!
Bedrooms within the hotel are comforable, modern and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, TVs with Freeview and DVD players, hairdryers and room service available upon request. For the Business traveller, free Wi-Fi is provided and the hotel also has a private car park to the rear of the building (free to guests). Most single rooms are double rooms for sole occupancy, whilst the downstairs lounge can be used for business meetings during the day.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant with a good choice of fruit juices, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and cooked English breakfast, all included in the room rate. Breakfast can be served in rooms on request (prior booking the evening before essential) or taken on the terrace in the warmer months.
The hotel is situated close to shops including a supermarket anda variety smaller bespoke retailers , as well as a Bank and Post Office. Similarly, a short walk form the hotel, Jesmond Dene Park and Nature Reserve offers a tranquil spot for an evening stroll.
