Originally built as a family home in 1881, to the exacting requirements of Mr William Young, a Scottish landowner and marine underwriter with Lloyds of London, the house displays many unique original features including a barrel roof with original stained glass windows depicting the family coat of arms. The hotel is licensed for up to 300 people for civil ceremonies and up to 220 for Wedding Breakfasts. All events can be adjusted to suit your individual needs.
