The Shrubbery is Shepton Mallet's premier in-town hotel and was built around 1850. During the earlier part of this century it was used as a doctor's surgery and became a private guesthouse in the early 1950s. Today it is a 2 star hotel with 8 fully equipped and well furnished bedrooms. Having built a reputation for comfort and home cooked fresh cuisine, Eric and his team pride themselves on the warm and friendly atmosphere to be enjoyed by their guests. The hotel offers a wide variety of meals. A 'Light Lunch or snack' menu complimented by an ever changing specials board which can be enjoyed in the bar area or in the beautiful garden.
