Just three miles from Winston Churchill's final resting place and of course, his birthplace, Blenheim Palace and six miles from Oxford, the academic capital of the world, Sturdy's Castle is a perfect mid point watering hole for all explorers that are travelling through this highly reputed region. For the last thirsty five years, Sturdy's Castle has been an exceedingly successful family run Inn offering first-rate fare and excellent wines.
Our accommodation offers 12 twin rooms and 9 double rooms, all with en-suite shower, TV, analogue email connectivity and tea and coffee facilities. Our family rooms accommodate up to four people per room. We also offer inter-connecting rooms for larger parties. Two of our rooms are specially designed to enable us to welcome disabled customers. Consideration to our disabled clients starts with easy access entrances to the rooms and stretches right the way through to welcoming our guests to the bar and our restaurant with its wide and varied menu.
Our fully equipped conference room, complete with projection equipment is separated from the rest of the Inn and so offers privacy with excellent facilities. The flexibility of our conveniently placed center enables us to provide other services; wedding receptions, christening celebrations, birthday/children’s parties.
