Chapters is a wonderful listed building full of character, dating back some 250 years. It was the venue for the inaugural meeting of The Stokesley Agricultural Society back in 1859. We have kept the character of the original building and blended this with a modern feel with over £400,000 refurbishment since 2005.

Chapters Hotel & Restaurant is a boutique hotel which features 13 individually designed bedrooms, each with the little luxuries that you would expect to find in a hotel that puts the comfort of our guests above all else. As part of the hotel’s restoration each of the rooms has been refurbished in its own unique style but finished to the highest possible standards – modern luxury with traditional features such as sash windows to Plasma televisions. Arranged over two floors, our 4 single rooms, 6 Doubles and 3 Executive Rooms feature a wide range of amenities and luxury. Children are more than welcome at Chapters, and as a convenience we have extra beds for children aged 3 – 14 years which are available for our Executive rooms and for specific doubles - please see specific rooms for tariff rates.

Each room offers a Plasma television with built in Free-View, Hairdryer, Direct Dial telephone, hospitality tray, Molton Brown toiletries, free Wi-Fi access, selection of quality magazines, desk & chair and Early morning call facility Rooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

Full English Breakfast is served in the restaurant and the opening times are Monday to Friday 7am to 9am and on Saturday & Sundays 8am to 10am (Bank Holidays revert to the weekend timings)

The Hotel Non Smoking Policy is adopted throughout the hotel including all the bedrooms.

The Restaurant: The restaurant at Chapters is a superb venue for either a romantic evening dinner for 2 or a private celebration for 30 and is perfect for business, romance or pleasure. The restaurant and brasserie are the showcase for Award winning Head Chef Victoria Vassallo and her exceptional cuisine.

She serves modern British and Continental cuisine and uses only the freshest and locally produced ingredients. Moreover, all the dishes are freshly prepared to order.
