We have a selection of 5 cask conditioned ales, 3 brewed within 10 miles of the pub and a guest from as far as 30 miles away! If you have "customer feedback" why not share it with the head brewer of one of our "legendary" local breweries, you can find him at the bar most evenings! We also have a wide selection of other beers, lagers and wines to suit all occasions. During the summer months families are welcome to enjoy our hospitality 'alfresco' in our attractive beer garden and patio area. Choose from our "Value" Lunch & Early Dinner menus. These offer two course lunch at £10.95, 2 course dinners from £12.95 and 3 course dinners for £15.95. The early dinner menus are available all evening on Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday and until 7.00pm on Friday & Saturday. We also offer a full a la carte menu for that special occasion!
Traveling
Hunton is situated just off the A684 Bedale to Leyburn rod.
Travelling by car, exit the A1 at Leeming Bar. Follow the signs for Bedale and then Leyburn. After passing through the village of Patrick Brompton take the first left (Signed for Richmond/Catterick) After approx 1 mile take the left hand turning for Hunton. In the village centre turn right and the pub is located 200 yds on the left.
The nearest airports are at Leeds/Bradford, Durham/Tees Valley and Newcastle. All are approximatley 40 minutes to 1 hours drive.
The nearest mainline railway stations are at Northallerton and Darlington which both offer a fast and frequent service on the East Coast Mainline route. They are both approx 30 minutes drive away.
The nearest coach stop in on the A1 at Scotch Corner, 15 minutes drive from the pub.

Hunton is ideally located for walks in Wensleydale and the Dales National Park.
The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is a pleasant 30 minute drive away, as is Historic York and Fountains Abbey.
Wensleydale is a centre for race horse training, based in nearby Middleham (5 miles). Stable Tours can be arranged and transport to and from the exercise gallops of Middleham Nigh and Low Moors.
Several racecourses are within easy driving distance including Catterick Bridge, Ripon, Thirsk, York, Wetherby, Sedgefield and Newcastle.
For visitors to nearby Middleham, visits to the numerous racing stables and transport to the training grounds at Middle High and Low Moors can be provided by arrangement.
