The former Member’s Library, overlooking the river, is one of the most noteworthy and evocative rooms in the hotel. Originally a place of quiet reference and reflection, it has been transformed into an immensely comfortable lounge with soft fabrics, piano and superb views of the Houses of Parliament. All the original bookcases have been retained along with the exquisite Edwardian light fittings, old oak panelling and magnificent open fireplaces.
