There’s a genuinely warm feeling of welcome in the mahogany panelled reception, lobby and lounge - the latter replete with original artworks, an imposing Jacobean Revival chimney piece, plump sofas and discreet bar. Old kilims adorn side tables, an Ottoman theme repeated in the rich pile carpeting throughout. Everything, from the oriental porcelain in the lobby to the furniture and decor of the aptly named Morris Room, has been expertly selected.
Should business or pleasure take you to London you`ll find no better base than the Gallery. With its mahogany panelled reception, bar and lounge area, the atmosphere is one of quiet refinement. There are thirty-four guest rooms and two suites; each uniquely designed, with ensuite facilities. Suites feature private roof facilities and jacuzzi baths.
Business guests especially will appreciate the direct-dial telephones with fax/modem ports in each room. Additionally, the Gallery has a boardroom-style meetings room accommodating up to fifteen persons, equipped with a computer with Internet access, printer and visual aids.
