Traveling
Directions to the Melville Hall from Fishbourne
From the Fishbourne car ferry terminal, turn left at the traffic lights at the end of the
road, towards Ryde.
Follow the main road through Ryde (A3055) signposted Sandown.
Pass through Brading Village (20 mph speed limit) and through traffic lights to
Sandown.
Keep left through traffic lights and under railway bridge .
Turn right at the mini roundabout and head up the hill (The Broadway)
At the fourth zebra crossing, turn immediately right and we are located 30 yards down
on the left hand side.
Directions to the Melville Hall from Cowes
Head out of East Cowes, past Osbourne House and take the exit signposted Ryde at
the Roundabout (first exit)
Follow the road to Ryde, past Fishbourne and then follow the instructions above.
Directions to the Melville Hall from Yarmouth
Take the first ext (left) at the roundabout outside the ferry terminal signposted
Newport.
When approaching Newport, take the third exit at the roundabout and travel down the
dual carriageway signposted Sandown/Shanklin.
At the large roundabout with lots of traffic lights head for Sandown (second exit).
Go straight across the next roundabout, past St George’s football club and continue
towards Sandown. Stay on this road until you come eventually to traffic lights at a T
Junction in Lake – beware the speed cameras just past Safeway in the 30 mph speed
limit.
Turn left at these traffic lights and head up Lake Hill, straight through the traffic lights
at the Heights Leisure Centre and take the second turning on the left immediately
before the zebra crossing. We are located 30 yards down on the left hand side.
