"The hotel is in a strange location on an industrial estate, it's location would be ideal if needed for a purpose like going into London but not really suitable for a romantic stay away. The hotel has really good facilities, a Starbucks, hair salon, gym and swimming pool. The rooms are a good size, with everything you need and the ensuite is a walk in shower and not a bath/shower. An added bonus was chocolate and water in the room on arrival. The rooms are air-conditioned which may be needed in the summer months as quite warm even with the window open and there is a lot of traffic noise. The quilt on the bed was a summer light quilt, which was a refreshing change as most hotels have the thick heavy one on all year round. We ate in the Victory Pub and the food was lovely in there - does what it stays "proper pub with proper grub". Breakfast was help yourself buffet style with all the usual trimmings."
