"We found the Edgwarebury Hotel to be a little hidden gem - close to London with stunning views of the city from its hilltop position but with a peaceful rural feel. The building itself is just beautiful and all public areas were welcoming and warm, with carved wood panelling in the main foyer, bar and breakfast room. Bedrooms do vary quite a lot in size - our room was small but immaculately clean and very comfortable for a one or two night stay. I think we would have upgraded to a larger room for a longer stay; our colleagues enjoyed really spacious accommodation. A hearty breakfast sent us happy on our way in the morning with the Full English and buffet selection complemented by a choice of freshly cooked specials; I'd recommend the smoked salmon omelette. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay. "

This half timbered mansion house stands within landscaped gardens surrounded by ten acres of natural woodland. The award-winning restaurant boasts stunning views towards London.
Traveling
From A1 take A411 from Stirling Corner. Stay on A411 for a further 1.5 miles, hotel is situated on the left hand side. From M25 East to J23 and then as above. From M25 West to J19 take A41 to A411, travel through a set of traffic lights, hotel is half a mile on the right. From M1 to J5, Take A41 to A411.
