Hotel Description
The Wykeham Arms is a unique 18th Century coaching Inn, situated between Winchester Cathedral and the college, tucked away in the quietest corner of the city. Retaining many of its original features and character with Real Log Fires, the inn is renowned within Hampshire for its charm and the warm hospitality you will receive from the Manager and his team. Comfortable period bedrooms are tastefully decorated and you cannot fail to enjoy excellent home cooked cuisine in the charming atmosphere of the restaurant or bar, adorned from top to bottom with memorabilia and real log fires during the winter months. A varied selection of light meals are also available throughout the day, along with an extensive range of wines and Fullers award winning ales and beers. 'The Wykeham Arms was named by the Sunday Telegraph as one of the top ten pubs in the country for lunch - February 08'. Surrounded by many beautiful towns and places of interest, the Wykeham Arms is the ideal place to stay for both business and pleasure. Limited Street Parking is available. Please Note: There is a 2 night minimum stay required on the weekends.
