An imposing Victorian building, set in the centre of Coleford town. Our rooms are basic but comfortable. Two of our double rooms have a four poster bed. The hotel has its own nightclub, which is open Friday and Saturday evenings 11.00pm-3.00am, and hotel residents have free entry. As all hotel windows are street facing the town can be noisy on friday and saturday nights, so please be aware of this before making your booking. However, our hotel is perfect on the weekend for those who wish to enjoy the beauty of the Forest of Dean during the day, and then want to enjoy a good night out. There is very limited parking during the week, and it is not advised for customers to park in the car park on the weekend, but there is a free car park less than 5 minutes walking distance away. The Angel Hotel was built in the 1600s and has been at the heart of Coleford since that time. She is an old building steeped in history and with her own resident "ghosts". For those wishing a more quiet stay, I would recommend booking Sunday - Thursday.
