"Very friendly, funny and dry witted landlord who made you very welcome. Rooms were ok but several issues. We were explained how to make the hot water work but I was lucky to get anything around luke warm, so a shower or shave was out of the question. Heating, like the water was next to none, rooms were freezing and had to sleep in all my clothes. My friend also stayed in the room next to me, he experienced the same. Would I stay again? Yes and No. Food was good and good value, B&B was a good price and my bill for 3 nights including food, loads of booze was £150. I would stay again but only in summer, never in a cold spell. Good value for money otherwise."
