"I found the Wessex Royale Hotel very hotel and it was in a perfect location along the main street as you come into Dorchester. It was good value for money and I would definitely stay again. I arrived about 9pm in the evening and the hotel were short staffed as they seemed to have a few functions on and were very busy. The staff that I did have dealings with were friendly and helped me resolve a query I had with my Bar bill for drinks. All in all it was a good stay and the rooms were clean and tidy."

The Wessex Royale Hotel, a delightful Georgian Hotel built in 1756, is set in the very centre of the pretty historic market town of Dorchester. Sited close to the River Frome, Weymouth, Poole, Lyme Regis, Swanage, Bournemouth, Yeovil and the Jurassic Coast are all close by. The Wessex Royale Hotel is the perfect base for both business and leisure guests.
