The Inn has been used as a Smithy, a Brew House, Petrol Station, a Prison and a Haunt for the feared Press Gangs. The area is also recorded in the Domesday Book. Of 1066

Our Menu is a modern twist on British Classics which changes with the seasons to enable us to make the most of Local and Seasonal Produce. We also have a Special Board with influences from around the World which alters Daily to give you a diverse and greater choice and the Chefs are always happy to accommodate any personal dietary requests.

We boast an Extensive Wine List, Well Conditioned, Casque Mark Award Winning Real Ales and Extra Cold Lagers are always available. Open all day everyday there is a variety of areas to sit and enjoy our hospitality. In the warmer months a large raised outdoor covered, lit and heated patio/decked area or tables next to the Creek and in the colder times sit next to one of our two roaring fires in the bar or in our cosy restaurant area.
