Extensive renovations have taken place since the hotel was purchased in 1986 and it is now recognised as one of the most popular hotel and restaurant complexes in South Cumbria. Chequers Hotel is able to cater for conferences and wedding receptions, both day and evening, and offers one free night in the bridal suite to couples booking full receptions. Please note-: rates for children in family rooms are as follows, Children under 12 £10 per child B&B per night, Children over 12 £20 per child B&B per night.
