A superb hotel encapsulating the historic interest of the Custom House, but with today's modern comforts. All rooms are individual with good facilities. An excellent restaurant, serving fresh local produce including daily fresh fish.
The Old Custom House, now a listed building, has been recently refurbished to provide an intimate, yet stylish hotel in the heart of Padstow`s old town. As well as boasting excellent accommodation, the Old Custom House has an award-winning bar and restaurant, the Pescadou, which caters for all occasions; from the casual lunch to the celebratory dinner.
In addition to the main hotel rooms, The Old Custom House Hotel also has a newly refurbished barn, providing spacious accommodation for 4-6 guests.
The double bedroom and family bedroom (double, single, cot) have distant views of the beautiful Camel Estuary, and both have en-suite facilities. The kitchen is equipped to a high specification in a modern design style. The lounge has extensive views, entertainment facilities and two large sofas (the sofa bed provides an additional bed for a child.)
Nestling at the mouth of the tranquil Camel Estuary, Padstow is a thriving fishing port and commercial centre for the area. Sailing and sail boarding are available on the river, as well as boat trips and thrilling powerboat and water-skiing trips. Coastal walks, beaches, lanes and villages are all readily available to visit nearby. Cycle hire and trails to Wadebridge and beyond can also be easily explored.
