Come and join us for a restful and relaxing break at our family run guest house. The Red House is an elegant and distinctive Victorian house which overlooks the picturesque harbour and the River Fal. The original house was built and owned by Lord Kimberly circa 1870 and still retains a lot of the old charm and character, we have refurbished with sympathy towards the character, but the bedrooms contain most of the modern worlds conveniences.  Some of the bedrooms are on the ground floor providing easy access to the breakfast room and lounge.

We are ideally positioned to capture the beauty of Falmouth and all it has to offer. We are situated about 150 Mts from the seafront (Gyllyngvase and Castle Beaches) and about a 5 - 7 minute walk into the town and harbour. No need to use the car just leave it in our large private car park and explore Falmouth with all its alley ways or enjoy a trip to St Mawes or Truro and other destinations by one of the numerous ferries.

Enjoy our  traditionally cooked Full English breakfast in our airy breakfast room, we use locally produced products where possible. We provide cereals, fruit compote, yogurt, juices or sample some of Karen's homemade jams and marmalade. We can cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten, wheat free and lactose intolerant. Most of the produce used is organic and grown locally where possible. Other diets are available if informed prior to arrival.

There are complimentary trays in the bedrooms, all have colour television some have DVD players and all have Freeview digital, small fridges, CD and radio players and hairdryers most are fully ensuite all are centrally heated, all bedrooms are either double or secondary glazed. We have three ground floor bedrooms available. We have no petty restrictions you can come and go as you please, keys are provided for the guest room and front door. For your comfort the whole guest house is completely non - smoking.
We offer free wi-fl connection in the bedrooms or use of a PC in the breakfast room. We can also offer in house beauty treatment (to be booked in advance). Newspapers can be ordered for you to sit and read in the lounge or galleried landing. For those special occasions flowers, champagne and chocolates can be waiting for you in your room with prior notification.

Falmouth is an excellent centre for touring Cornwall. Beauty spots such as Land’s End, The Lizard, St Michael’s Mount, Polperro, St Mawes, and Isles of Scilly etc are all within easy reach. Boat trips up the beautiful Fal and Carrick Roads or across the bay to Helford River and Frenchman’s Creek can be taken. Perhaps you would enjoy Sea angling, Diving, Sailing or Golf are all within easy reach, or perhaps just a stroll along the cliffs with magnificent views of the Castle and Falmouth Bay. Local transport is widely and easily accessable.

We are just 150 Mts from the Princess Pavilion where you will find free entertainment every evening during the summer months.
