Our immaculately clean bedrooms are en-suite with flat screen TV, a selection of toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities, room door spy hole for security, trouser press, hair-dryer, iron and free wi-fi internet access. Our full English breakfasts are freshly cooked to order with waitress service. There is ample free car parking, and the bar also serves drinks teas,coffees and bar snacks.
Umberto's Restaurant offers a wide choice of menus throughout the week including Business Lunches, Sunday Lunch, Market Menu, A La Carte, and Resident's Menus, together with a superb winelist and our famous sweet trolley.
This is also the ideal venue for that special occassion including birthdays, anniversaries, family parties, christenings and for smaller, more intimate weddings. We have a variety of menus to suit every occassion and can also cater for conferences in our fully self-contained Cortona Suite and funerals for which we have a selection of buffet menus available.

Health and Beauty
Award winners of the HEARTBEART AWARD 2011. To achieve this we have reduced the amounts of salt, fat and sugar in our dishes whilst enhancing the taste with herbs and spices. We can cater for specific dietary requirements, please inform reception at the time of booking.

Our butcher selects prime English beef and rose veal from Yorkshire, Lamb from Wales and makes our sausages by hand using only meat, breadcrumbs and seasoning. He continues to win awards for his meat.
We use organic salmon, free range eggs, fresh cream and semi-skimmed milk (not long-life).
We have chosen to use Kenco and Lavazza coffee and both have been certified "Rain Forest Alliance".
Extra Virgin Olive Oil only is used for drizzling over our starter and main courses where appropriate.
We endeavour to source seasonal produce from local suppliers where ever possible.
The Wycliffe Hotel re-cycles cardboard, paper & glass, and is committed to using low energy lighting.
Our three star rating with the AA is currently at 74%, the results of which we use in our training schemes.
