  "My fiancée & I took my mum & dad away to the Carrington Arms as a 40th wedding anniversary treat. Having stayed at the Carrington Arms previously on a number of occasions I knew exactly what to expect from the accommodation & restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The comfortable accommodation offers excellent value at just £39.50 per room per night. However, where the Carrington Arms excels is in its catering. More of a restaurant than a pub, the cuisine is superb and the enthusiastic & knowledgeable chefs ran through the bewildering choice of seafood, meat & fish (including rump steak, fillet steak, venison, bison, Barbary duck, lamb, Thai beef stir fry, and Cajun salmon) before we made our selection. The oysters were superb, the fillet steak mouth wateringly tender and cooked to perfection on the char-grill (which is such a feature of the restaurant). The Beaujolais Villages, Fleurie, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Bouche Pere et Fils champagne we chose to accompany the meal was very reasonably priced, and the service exemplary. All in all we were treated to a true gastronomic feast. Highly recommended - we will be back!"

Situated 5 miles from Milton Keynes in the picturesque village of Moulsoe, The Carrington Arms is a 19th Century pub and restaurant offering a Unique culinary experience and accommodation. With help from our chefs our guests can choose from a selection of prime cuts of Aberdeenshire beef, fresh fish, Irish oysters and tiger prawns from our display counter. You can even choose your own fresh Canadian lobster from our lobster tanks. Your food is then cooked on the open grill in the restaurant to your specification. We also offer a selection of freshly prepared chef specials, fine wines and real ales. We offer 8 en-suite letting bedrooms situated in our gardens.
