Stoke Place Hotel is only thirty minutes away from the bustle of London and yet enjoys all the benefits of a rural English landscape. The three storey William and Mary style house was built as a family home in 1690 by Patrick Lamb. Later east and west wings were added to the building creating a substantial and impressive country house and the infamous talents of Capability Brown turned the surrounding grounds into a quintessential rural idyll. The lake at the end of the garden is open for fishing and in the summer months enjoy a deliciously prepared picnic under the tress. The stylish house offers a combination of elegance, relaxation and convenience. Enjoy a drink in the Garden Bar which is open until the last guest has gone to bed or feast on a locally sourced, seasonal menu of contemporary British food. For private celebrations or conferences there are 7 individually designed rooms which can seat from 14 to 200 people. For a totally private, party experience, the entire house and all its bedrooms are available to hire.
