This boutique hotel and restaurant is situated in the picturesque and quintessentially English village of Cookham Dean, but is located only a mere 45 minutes from central London and is closer still to the business centres of High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Slough. It is also ideally situated for the riverside towns of Henley, Marlow and Windsor and is surrounded by the beautiful Thames Valley countryside.
This is the sister hotel and restaurant of the much talked about Embassy in London’s Mayfair and is the second joint venture of Mark Fuller and celebrated Chef, Garry Hollihead. Following the theme of Embassy, The Inn on the Green offers relaxed glamour with a sumptuous interior; nine unique and individually designed bedrooms and simple yet utterly delicious food. In short, a fabulous setting in which to enjoy a little bit of country...

Restaurant: The restaurant comprises of three interconnecting dining rooms: The Lamp Room, the largest of the three dining rooms, is beautifully lit by a central chandelier and offers an intimate and romantic setting in which to dine. The Stublie is wood panelled from floor to ceiling with a beautiful open fire place, offering a cosy and informal atmosphere. The Conservatory is light and airy, perfect for a relaxing lunch. Guests may also dine Al Fresco on the front lawn during the summer months.

Boutique Hotel: The nine bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed and decorated; each room contains a unique selection of furniture to reflect its individual style. All bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with digital television, wireless internet, direct dial telephone along with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests may also indulge in a little pampering by taking advantage of unlimited use of the outdoor hot tub.

Group Dining & Events: The Inn on the Green is a fantastic location for any occasion and frequently plays host to a variety of events from weddings to corporate parties. The three dining rooms are extremely versatile and can be used to suit your particular requirements, whether that be, a small conference or meeting, a leisurely lunch or an intimate dinner party. Larger events may be held in the marquee-covered courtyard, which proves ideal for formal sit down dinners or for cocktail and canapé parties. It is also possible to take over The Inn exclusively allowing you not only privacy but also the flexibility to decorate and theme the venue as you wish. The beautiful gardens are great for BBQs, drinks receptions, team building events or simply as a place to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Weddings: The Inn on the Green is an idyllic place to host civil ceremonies and receptions. This brings obvious benefits by enabling you to organise your entire day at the same venue. Choose from one of the dining rooms for a small intimate wedding or if you are planning a much larger affair the Inn can be yours exclusively for the day. Exclusive use of the venue includes all nine of the bedrooms and enables you to plan your wedding day exactly as you wish. The Inn really is a ‘home from home’ and the friendly staff will do their up most to ensure your day is perfect. At The Inn on the Green we know how daunting planning a wedding can be, we therefore have a dedicated wedding coordinator on hand to help you plan your special day. We have put together three packages but we are extremely flexible and can tailor make a package to suit your individual requirements and budget. Buffet menus and BBQ menus are also available.
