The Boutique, unique Belfry is within the Blackdown Hills and just 20 minutes from the Jurassic coast.
All our guest rooms are bright and clean with en-suite bathrooms. There are six guest rooms in all.
The south facing Terrace is wonderful for our guests to enjoy during the fine weather. The views across the village and the valley beyond are stunning, particularly from the first floor.
PARKING – Ample space available free of charge for all guests.
WIFI – Good signal throughout with free connectivity using a code in the guest rooms.
Tea/Coffee and S-J's cake for afternoon arrivals, Absolutely Everything you could think of in the rooms, beautiful bed linen and beds so comfy everyone about. Dining is in one of the old school classrooms with Neil as the host and S-J in the kitchen and then breakfast, a "Full Belfry" maybe with delicious locally sourced bacon, sausages and eggs.
Award winning "Boutique Bolthole in the Blackdowns". (An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Devon and allegedly, an undiscovered Cotswolds).
A converted Victorian School which has a slight contemporary flair but keeping all the traditional features and adding a touch of opulence here and there.
The Belfry is just 6 miles east of antiques galore in Honiton, 1/2 mile off the A303 and only 20 minutes from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast.
Samsung flat screen televisions, tea/coffee facilities (with herbals, hot-chocolate and malt drinks (these things are important!) with fresh milk and juices are in the fridge under the stairs for you to help yourselves. Glastonbury bottled mineral water and delicious biscuits in the room (with the occasional home-made flapjack!).
You will find a CD player with CDs available to borrow on the landing. white waffle-weave bathrobes in the wardrobe for you to wrap up in and of course the complete works of the poet after whom your room was named may also be found in your room.
Our beds are made with spotless white 100% cotton sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers and our bathrooms have 100% cotton towels and face flannels (and the bath towels are the biggest on the market).
All the bathrooms have pressurised water to make Power Showers and range of beautiful L'Occitane toiletries in the bathrooms.
The Restaurant serves Modern British food with a slight French influence and the monthly menu can be viewed online under "Food and Drink".
And then...breakfast..."A Full Belfry" maybe, with all locally sourced produce and we think the best bacon and sausages for miles around.
Just 20 minutes off J25 Taunton exit of the M5. 1/3 mile off A303, 6miles East of Honiton and 20 minutes from the Jurassic Coast and Lyme Regis.
