Built in 1855, the historic inn retains all it`s charm and atmosphere, with original oak panelled rooms and parquet flooring, stone mullioned windows and roaring log fires. The Amberley Inn is the perfect location for a year round break, whether for a romantic break, walking holiday or business trip.
All our 13 rooms are light and airy with modern ensuite bathrooms, Egyptian cotton bed linen and other homely features. Each room has it`s own individual style, many having fine views across the valley or the gardens. Rooms with Four poster or other feature beds are also available.
Good food is at the heart of what we do, consistently high quality meals made with care, and the finest local ingredients. From the M5 take junction 13 towards Stroud, then follow the A46 towards Bath and turn left onto Culver Hill three miles out of Stroud, signed for Amberley & Minchinhampton as well as Amberley Inn tourist sign.
From the M4 take junction 18 and follow the A46 towards Stroud. Follow the A46 through Nailsworth then turn right onto Culver Hill two miles north of Nailsworth, signed Amberley & Minchinhampton as well as Amberley Inn tourist signs
