Brighton

Brighton is widely regarded at the UK epicentre of cool. Less brash than London, more stylish than Manchester, Brighton attracts tens of thousands of tourists every year – from the hip young things to the older hippies, and everyone in between.

The Lanes in Brighton are the most popular shopping district. The Brighton kids’ notoriously creative tastes in clothing are fully catered for by the stores in the Lanes, and the district itself is a fine place to spend some time.

And for those who fancy a bit of the traditional British seaside holiday, the famous Brighton Pier is the best place to go. A stroll along the pier provides visitors with a bracing view out to sea and access to all the finest of seaside entertainment – hook-a-duck, bingo, fish and chips and the penny arcades: it’s all here!
