said: "The main attraction of this hotel is its` good value for money and its` convenient location. The only car parking available to guests is a public car park which is about 300 metres from the Hotel and, Monmouth being a busy town, spaces were very limited at the time of our arrival. The accommodation section and restaurant and bars section of the Hotel have separate entrances and this is not immediately obvious and can be a little confusing. However, in general terms, this is a Hotel I would quite happily stay at again and also recommend to friends. "

said: "Unfortunately, on the evening of our stay there was a fault with the fire alarm and everyone had to leave the premises. We waited an hour and a half while the firemen searched for the fire! However, the hotel gave us a free traditional breakfast and coffee to compensate for the inconvenience. (One normally has to pay separately for breakfast)."
