Only downside might be that it is on a busy road - traffic noise during night inspite of quality sealed unit windows. However this did not bother me as although I am a very light sleeper I always take earplugs with me!
Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay there again."

The Highgate Tube station is a short bus ride away or a lovely 20 minute walk through Highgate Wood. Also you can take a leisurely walk to Alexandra Palace and park starting at the Cranley Gardens entrance about 50 yards south of the hotel on Muswell Hill Road.
Last of all, the staff of the hotel are friendly, especially Tom the manager who is very helpful."

Excellent local bus service and adjacent to the magnificent Highgate Wood and handy for other lovely walks (Hampstead Heath, Alexandra Palace, Queen`s Wood). Friendly and helpful staff, although English language limited.
Negatives: I didn`t need one, but there are no shaver points in bathrooms; road noise so ear plugs would be recommended.
Would not hesitate to return.
