said: "Travelling on business all over Northern Ireland, Scotland and Ireland it is wonderful to find a place that's a real gem - and within budget for the person needing single accommodation (something that a lot of hotels don't cater for). The Cook and Barker, so conveniently situated just off the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick provides superb accommodation at the right price and some of the best food I experience on my travels."
