said: "With regard to the Ifield Court Hotel, I have been staying there for about 20 years when going on holiday, usually twice a year. This speaks for itself. The hotel has been owned by the same people all that time and they are very efficient and friendly. The hotel is in a lovely setting and makes a great add on to your annual holiday. The food is also good and service very good so that you can get to bed early if you have a very early flight. Sally Larke"

said: "The hotel does have a lovely old-worldy feel to it, and on arrival, we were quickly shown to our room. However, the hotel has very poor sound-proofing, and due to creaky floorboards, and other guests leaving at all times of the night (to be expected!) we got absolutely no sleep at all, which sort of defeated the object for us! On return from holiday, it took us an hour to get back to the hotel, and we waited 20 mins for the transfer bus, when you`ve been on a night flight, thats not great - an improvement might be to ask people to call 15 mins before they`re ready for collection.
We paid £120 for a superior twin as no standard twins were available, and whilst the room was fine, the beds were small, the room was fairly shabby, and I wouldnt say this was value for money, especially when you can stay at the hilton for £175, and walk into the terminal.
We booked on recommendation of a friend, so I can only say that the rooms/experiences must vary. "

With parking and transfer included in the price it is good value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Even in spite of the rooms I would probably stay again. They certainly seem to have a returning customer base, which speaks volumes. So if the rooms were up dated it would be good."
