said: "Oxford blue is in the middle of having an overhaul, so initial impressions are of a scruffy building with scaffolding outside; but the owners are lovely and couldn't try hard enough to make our stay comfortable. They are again in the middle of updating the bedrooms, so there were only 3 available when we were there. The room was very small but cosy and clean with a small shower room. The views from the oxford blue are amazing; lovely gardens to sit outside. Windsor castle is only up the road and Elton Johns home is within spitting distance too. Ascot racecourse is also very accessible from here."
