Room heating had been turned off so room cold, turned radiator on and on return for second night stay it had been turned off again. En-suite can best be described kindly by saying it required modernisation and redecorating. Full English breakfast came without the essential fried bread and mushrooms. Did not stay for any evening meals as landlord did not offer good selection nor appeared to be very helpful. These are only my opinions and hopefully there are better rooms and perhaps the landlord was having a bad day when we arrived. We would never stay again.d day when we arrived. These were things wrong with the room in our opinion Windows would not shut tight, sash cord broken on one side, wind blowing in all night. Gap under the door had to put towel to block of the drought. No bedside light, had to walk over to the door to turn light off. Cobwebs in the room, light over sink not working. Tap heads loose. Rads turned off when we got there both in the room and rest of the PUB. Also the TV not tuned in right. Last of all the Restaurant is closed on a Sunday night with nowhere else to go for food. Also one day our room was not serviced.
