said: "Had a lovely time at the Mackworth Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful we had a bar meal which was really nice and a good price too. The breakfast was cooked fresh and good quality - would stay there again."

said: "I had a very comfortable night - the bed was wonderful! The bathroom was well-beyond basic. I was lucky enough to be allocated the suite which was spacious and almost met my every need. The only problem was the lights. The energy-saving bulbs are quite dim and whilst this is fine for the room generally, it really needed a bright light over the desk/dressing table area. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area."
