said: "My wife and I stay in hotels at least once or twice per month, mainly for business purposes. We mostly use Premier Travel Inn, Marriott or Hilton hotels depending on location. This time we chose a hotel more local to Toft Hill to minimise daily travelling.
It was our intention to stay at the Park Head for three nights but after staying only one night moved to a Premier Travel Inn where we have stayed before.
The staff at the Park Head were pleasant and courteous and well presented but the general appearance of the hotel was shabby and slightly run down. Dirty marks on the restaurant walls adjacent to tables, cushions propping open doors to the kitchen and a hole in one wall required filling. Room 32, (a suite), was shabby and the bathroom not clean. The bathroom floor is carpeted and had not been cleaned behind the w.c or the door and the bath was not clean. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable.
This hotel needs a bit of general maintenance, a lick of paint.
