I am aware this is not the hotels fault, but I would not recommend this hotel if staying on business, simply for this reason, which is such a shame."

Needless to say I was dead beat after 3 days there. They should warn customers of this fact and issue ear plugs (free) for added comfort.
Upon check in I was not informed of breakfast times and there was no information in my room. I got to the restuaurant at 9am to find I had missed my opportunity to eat and was informed the cook had gone home. However, the staff serving were pleasant.
The pub/restaurant was very good at any time of the day. I would eat or drink here but would not stay again without sleeping pills, ear plugs and a loud gong to wake me from my medically assisted sleep for breakfast.

The morning manager told me that this has been a problem for ages and they have not been able to do anything about it because they are owned by neighbours!
I was told on arrival that breakfast was served from 7am. The main part of the hotel was totally locked with everyone waiting outside until 08:05am when the manager arrived to let staff in and start the process!"
