The Eurostar trains coming in to the station ran literally five feet from my bedroom window on the third floor, but surprisingly the noise wasn`t that distracting, and there was no noise from the pub downstairs. The pub itself was quite nice; it`s popular with the locals, serves a good pint and has good food as well. A very nice place to come back too after a busy day in London. My only complaint was that there`s no proper reception area, as you check in to the hotel at the pub, so there was no real reception if you`re the type of traveler who likes your hotel to arrange lots of thing for you; however, anytime I went down there if there was no one available I found the pub patrons were more than happy to offer their help.
